Sago, I’m Erin!
Sago means “hello” in the Mohawk Language. I am a member of the Mohawk Nation and Wolf Clan of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy. We are a matrilineal bloodline, and traditional communities today are led by our Matriarchs and Clan Mothers. We follow our mother’s clan and women are revered in our culture as Life Givers and Keepers of Mother Earth. Because of this lifepath, the Women’s Suffrage Movement was greatly influenced by my Haudenosaunee Ancestors and their examples of feminine strength, freedom, autonomy, and leadership. Being raised around strong Mohawk Women, my hunger for deeper understanding about our political and spiritual history, and my own life journey, are what molded and created Feminine Spirit and my mission to help women embrace themselves as whole beings, and truly connect with their Purpose and Inner Matriarch.
As a young adult I spent over a decade in the Fashion Industry as a Model, based in NYC and traveling internationally for my work. During that time I endured those first “dark nights of the soul” in my life and in my mid-twenties I embraced a spiritual path that continues to guide me to this day. I was fortunate to have many Native American, Buddhist, and other spiritual mentors and teachers along my journey, where I learned meditation, self-observation, and our connection to Mother Earth. Since then I graduated with degrees in Psychology & Human Development and Haudenosaunee Studies, had two beautiful home births, endured and left a long and grueling toxic relationship, struggled with addiction issues, and have continued to deepen my personal growth and spiritual path.
Today I am the Mom of two incredible babes, my son River is 17 and my daughter Sky is 12. This stage of motherhood has been the most challenging, and I’ve learned the most about myself! I am a certified Tony Robbins Results Coach and have been mentored by other incredibly successful Life Coaches such as Gabby Bernstein and Brooke Castillo. I’ve manifested the man of my dreams, my great love story, my best friend, and together we’ve built a thriving Life Coaching Business. I truly believe that much of my resiliency, strength, independence, and unconventional spirit comes from my bloodline and trusting the wisdom of my own Inner Matriarch.
